Dr Maebh O'Regan
Lecturer in Visual Culture

Maebh is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where she completed a B.A. degree in History of Art and Classical Civilization. She continued her education in Maynooth College studying for an additional B.A. subject (English 1997) and completing a Higher Diploma in Education the following year. In the autumn 1998 she commenced a Ph.D. study of the Irish Victorian Painter, Richard Thomas Moynan, completing her doctoral thesis in May 2002. She has been lecturing in the National College of Art and Design since January 2000 and Griffith College since September 2006.

Maebh has a specific interest in Irish art practice and has written a number of studio profiles and essays for exhibition catalogue.
