Portfolio Information Sessions

NCAD staff will host Information Sessions for applicants preparing a Portfolio for entry to Year 1 in September 2018.  Prospective students can view successful portfolios from previous applications  and visit the studio areas,  This is also an opportunity to address any questions around portfolio preparation and presentation to NCAD staff. 

Dates and Times
Saturday 4th November: 12pm - 2pm  - All Programmes
Tuesday 7th November: 6pm - 8pm - All Programmes
Wednesday 8th November: 6pm- 8pm - All Programmes
Focus on Design 
If you are interested in  Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or Illustration there will be separate sessions to focus on each of these areas on Tuesday 7th November, 5.30pm  -7.30pm 

There is no charge to attend these events but spaces are limited and you are advised to book

Design Portfolio Preparation Workshops and Portfolio Clinics

We understand that the application process can seem daunting at times so we are going to help you complete your portfolio in one day! Staff members and students will be on hand to take the mystery out of portfolio preparation.

Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design and Illustration are running portfolio workshops; bring along your portfolio work to date and over the course of a day-long work shop in the Design studios we will help you complete your Portfolio.

Design for Body &  Environment (Fashion Design, Textile & Surface Design, Jewellery & Objects) are running a Portfolio Clinic; bring along your portfolio work to-date and get expert feedback on your work and guidance on how you complete the process. 

These sessions are free but booking is required and will be available from mid November

Applicants for all Design programmes Year 1  2018
