QA / QI Office
Welcome to the NCAD Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement webpages. This section of the website has been designed to provide information and guidelines on the self-assessment process, student feedback, peer review procedures and quality improvement procedures. These pages also contain the published Peer Review Group reports and the Quality Improvement Plans of areas that have completed the first cycle of reviews.
Staff within NCAD can also access the NCAD intranet for QA/QI Office matters to be reported to Academic Council.
The QA Officer works closely with areas engaged in the self-assessment review. The goal of QA/QI is to develop and foster a quality culture across all College activities. This can be achieved by the reflection and analysis inherent in the self-assessment review format, to ensure that standards are maintained and enhanced and that opportunities for development are identified and acted upon.
Professor Declan McGonagle, Director of NCAD is the head of Quality Assurance. Nicky Saunders, QA/QI Officer, manages the Quality Assurance Review process and College/student surveys.
