This pathway provides learners with the specialist knowledge, skills and expertise to become leaders in the field. Learners gain a thorough knowledge of and a pronounced affinity with type design and typography.
The Professional Diploma in Typographic Futures encourages participants to integrate research, creative practice and contemporary methods, theory and contexts.
The programme is delivered under the Creative Futures Academy, a dynamic partnership between NCAD, UCD and IADT.
The modules seek to prepare students with the practical and theoretical means to develop contemporary design practice and theory within a specialist award, while benefitting from a broader interdisciplinary creative discourse and community of practice.
Successive modules allow participants to develop their specialist practice, their professional, technical and organisational skills and their knowledge and application of critical contexts.
