Prof Cert in Sustainable Exhibition Making
The Professional Certificate in Sustainable Exhibition Making is a 5-credit programme offered to artists, curators and other cultural workers to effect and implement positive approaches to the issues of sustainability thrown up by their own practices as well as those of the sector. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding the environmental impact of studio practice and exhibition making.
This professional certificate seeks to prepare students with the practical and theoretical means to understand the environmental implications and effects of exhibition making at different scales of activity – from large historical exhibitions in large institutions to singular works of art.
The programme aims to:
- provide participants with appropriate skills and knowledge that can be applied to their professional development as a creative practitioner.
- develop participant’s knowledge and skills to prepare them to act responsibly and in informed manner when undertaking various forms of artistic and curatorial practice.
