Study & Exam Supports

Learning Support aims to assist students in their learning journey by helping them to develop their academic skills when working independently.

Learning Support provides guidance on academic and study skills such as note taking, active reading, researching information, Mind Mapping, essay planning, academic writing, referencing, how to use the library and preparing for exams.

Learning Support appreciates that each individual learns differently and different approaches work for different people. Below we have provided PDFs and video guides for some of the most common areas which students may need academic support.

Please remember if you have any questions about an upcoming assignment, your tutors, Learning Support and the NCAD library staff are more than willing to help.
