Rialto Youth Project
As part of Dublin Learning City Festival 2024 the NCAD Gallery is delighted to present Celebrating Journeys NCAD 2014-2024, a short-run exhibition to mark ten years of collaboration between the Rialto Youth Project and NCAD’s Access Programme. A short film to commemorate this creative learning exchange will be launched on Monday 15th April 2024 at 5pm at the NCAD Gallery, all are welcome to attend.
In preparation for the Celebrating Journeys NCAD 2014-2024 exhibition, young people who attend the Fatima and Dolphin Homework Clubs in Rialto, Dublin 8 participated in an Easter Art Camp held at NCAD in March 2024. They worked alongside NCAD student facilitators’ Emma Brennan, Stephanie Teixeira-Agbele, Thomas Kelly, Chun Zhu Wang, Holly Walsh, Rosa Kelly and Olena Fadieieva. Exploring themes of community, identity and place making using paint, print and mixed media methods.
