Origin8’s experienced staff members guide clients and design residents through the various funding schemes available for design research.
A range of research grants – such as innovation research vouchers, innovation partnerships, technical feasibility grants and commercialisation funding schemes – are potentially available to support client-based projects, through Enterprise Ireland, EU Horizon 2020 and other bodies. Other industry partners work with our design school through knowledge transfer partnership agreements. This type of work is similar to sponsored research, where the client pays directly for the required research.
