NCAD School of Design staff shortlisted for Irish Design Awards 2018
Awards to be announced in January
Four members of staff at NCAD have been shortlisted for the Irish Design Awards 2018 for creativity. Alex Milton, Head of School of Design, says 'It's fantastic to see our staff being recognised for their outstanding creative practice, on top of the numerous successes of our students and graduates over the last year'.
Emma Creighton who teaches Product and Interaction Design has been listed in the Design Education & Research category for 'Designing Learning'.
Jamie Murphy who runs the Distillers Press at at NCAD is shortlisted in the Photography in Design a Typography in Design categories for Town.
Head of Department of Communucation Design, JP Dowling, is listed in the Collaborative Design section for Reflections On.
And Fashion Design lecturer Natalie Coleman is shortlisted in the Clothing Category for AW18 – Guaranteed to Bleed.
The prize winners will be announced on 24th January 2019 at CHQ at Custom House Quay, Dublin 1.
The Institute of Designers in Ireland is the largest and oldest association of design professionals in Ireland.
