NCAD Design Grad Wins Judges Vote at the ARTSTHREAD i-D Global Graduate Awards 2020

BA Interaction Design graduate Linas Staniukynas is the winner of the Interaction Design / Game Design Judges Vote.

Congratulations to BA Interaction Design graduate Linas Staniukynas, the winner of the Interaction Design / Game Design judges vote in the first ever online Global Design Graduate Show created with i-D/Vice Media & Gucci.

Linas's winning project, Vesper, is a sensory pillow and companion app made to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) sleep. Children with ASD often have trouble falling and staying asleep. They often become overstimulated, emotional or have feelings of anxiety, during bedtime.

Vesper brings them a sense of comfort and calmness from these feelings, using pressure and adjustable temperature, sounds and vibration to help the child and parents have a better sleep.

The first graduating cohort of the BA Interaction Design at NCAD have taken both People's Choice and Judges Award for these awards.
