24 Hour Film Project

invitation to respond to 'the Futures series 3 episode 2' at the RHA

Are you interested in film making? Would you like to meet students from other art colleges and develop a collaborative short film? Would you like to engage with one of Dublin’s leading contemporary art spaces and two RHA Futures artists? Do you like rhetorical questions?

NCAD’s Art in the Contemporary World along with the RHA are running an exciting 24 hour film project, which will see participants work collaboratively in response to the RHA’s current exhibition 'the Futures series 3 episode 2'  to create a short film which will be screen at the RHA the following day and online through their gallery and ACW’s social media and digital platforms. 

The participants will meet at the RHA on the morning of the 8th of December 2018, view the show, meet with artists Bassam Al-Sabah and Laura Fitzgerald discuss their work in the exhibition and approach to film making which will inspire and inform to forthcoming film project. The aim in addition to the film you will make and talents you get to showcase is to help foster new potential collaborations between young creatives from across years, departments and colleges.

Participants are assigned teams randomly, shooting on the Saturday, editing Sunday, completing the film in time for a screening in the RHA that afternoon at 3pm.
