What career path did you want to follow as a child?
Fine Art.
Why did you decide to study at National College of Art & Design?
It had a great reputation.
How did you develop your career towards your current practice?
Through completion of my Masters course and on-the-job training
What is the one experience – during your time at NCAD – that has informed you most in your work to date?
Critical thinking and an ability to work on my own initiative

Don’t overthink it and enjoy the time you spend creating things for no reason other than it’s interesting to you.
Given the global turmoil and change, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, what – in your opinion – are the opportunities for those in creative industries?
There is a huge demand for quality digital creative commercial content right now as a direct result of COVID-19. New products and services that solve problems caused by the pandemic are springing up every day.
The marriage of technology and creativity is very interesting right now, particularly with the emergence of Artificial Intelligence. Creativity is one skill an algorithm can’t learn…. yet
