BA Visual Culture Taster Day 2019
Are you passionate about Art, Film, Design, Photography, Contemporary Culture? Do you want to study in a creative art school setting? Would you like a career in: arts administration (in contemporary and heritage contexts); publishing, journalism, and critical writing; museums and private galleries; or art and design historical research and lecturing? Come to the BA Visual Culture Taster Day at NCAD, on Wednesday 20th February at 12 pm. Participate in the taster lecture, meet current students, and tour the campus, including the Edward Murphy Library, Ireland’s leading specialist art and design library. Your place is here!
NCAD has a special atmosphere. Based on our campus in the Liberties in Central Dublin, Visual Culture students study the history and contemporary practice of art and design - including fashion and mass media - in the company of the next generation of practicing artist and designers. Our open morning will give you a chance to see the college in action.
The open morning will take place at 12 midday on Wednesday 20th February 2019 (room HCH203). The talk and tour will last c. 90 mins and refreshments will be provided.
