News - Mary Cawley Travel Bursary
Winners Announced
We are delighted to announce that the following students have been successful in their application to the Mary Cawley Travel Bursary: Alana Mc Donough, Visual Communication, Sabrina Dignam, School of Education & Fine Art, Harriette Billingham, Glass, Lorraine Slator, School of Education and Fine Art, Megan Maguire, School of Education & Fine Art, Elayne Harrington, Sculpture and Expanded Practice.
The Mary Cawley Travel Bursary supports full-time students who are registered with the NCAD Access Office and is valued at €5,000 per year. Created through the will of John Cawley, in memory of his mother, the bursary seeks to support activities that lead to professional development for full-time students at the National College of Art and Design.
Eligible activities include:
- Travel to participate in workshops, classes or seminars
- Travel to attend international events related to the applicant's course of study
- Travel to attend conferences or exhibitions of significance
- Travel to assist in the presentation of scholarly or artistic works that will significantly help in the development of the applicant's career in the arts
