NCAD lecturer, James Armstrong at the IFI

James Armstrong (NCAD) will speak about the 1970s U.S. avant-garde and the emergence of oppositional heroes in the films of Waters and others including Warhol/Paul Morrissey

James Armstrong, Lecturer in Visual Culture at NCAD, is interviewing William Klein, one of the most important photographers of the 20th century, for the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival on Feb. 20th at the Irish Film Institute. 

Continuing his association with the JDIFF and IFI he is giving a lecture (The Oppositional Hero and the Emergence of the 1970's American avant-garde) at the Irish Film Institute on Tuesday Feb. 25th after the screening of John Water'sPink Flamingos.
