Interstices of Light
NCAD Visual Culture BA student collaborates with photographer
‘Interstices of Light’ is an exhibition of images and texts created by photographer Erica Coburn and poet Éimear Regan.
The exhibition consists of a series of photographs in direct response to a set of poems. The works on display explore themes of oppression and mental health in a country so strongly influenced by the Church.
Éimear is a 2018 graduating student of the NCAD, and Erica graduated from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dublin in 2017. Aside from her poetry, Éimear has also worked as assistant curator of The KEMP Gallery, Dublin since its inception in 2016. Erica has worked for companies such as Bank of Ireland, Sony, HitRECord and has been published on the Vogue Italia website, Elle magazine, Stern, and more. This is their first collaboration.
The exhibition is curated by Éimear Regan.
The exhibition opens on the evening of Wednesday May 30th runs until Tuesday 4th June at The Complex, 13 Little Green Street.
