City Routes: A Deep Mapping of Dublin’s Central Library

Silvia Loeffler's exhibition opens on 1st October 2021

Over the last two years, artist and NCAD tutor Dr Silvia Loeffler - whose practice concerns itself with mapping interactions - has been exploring the creative possibilities of the Central Library, the busiest public library in Dublin city. In the resulting exhibition City Routes: A Deep Mapping of Dublin’s Central Library, Loeffler, in close collaboration with library staff and the community, has reflected on the confluence of the library, shifts in technology and diversity of users all set against the lively backdrop of Moore Street, Parnell Street and Henry Street.

1 October - 12 November 2021 - Central Library, ILAC Centre, Henry Street, Dublin 1

Details of how to visit the exhibition both online and onsite will posted on the Central Library’s Facebook page and at dublincitylibraries.ie shortly.
