Study & Exam Supports

Learning Support aims to assist students in their learning journey by helping them to develop their academic skills when working independently.

We provide guidance on note taking, active reading, researching information, Mind Mapping, essay planning, academic writing, referencing and studying for exams.

Each individual learns differently some of us prefer written text, others prefer visual or audio descriptions. Below we have provided PDFs and video guides for some of the most common areas which students may need academic support.

Please remember if you have any questions about an upcoming assignment, your tutors, Learning Support and the NCAD library staff are more than willing to help.
