Masters Scholarships in Fine Art

Scholarships announced for the MFA in Fine Art

NCAD is offering 3 full-time MFA Fine Art / Digital Art Scholarships that will support art research and practice carried out at the National Forensic Medical Hospital at Dundrum and in its transition to a new facility at Portrane in the Dublin Area.

It is required that the awarded candidates will spend time between these locations and NCAD in the development of their practice.  It is intended that the art processes and artwork evolved will be integrated into the new hospital environment. There is a materials and travel budget.

It is expected that the successful candidates will have a suite of digital skills and other capacities and a flexible ‘can do’ attitude in relation to working in specific contexts and with people

NCAD will appoint 2 x two-year scholarships commencing September 17 and 1 further two-year scholarship in 18/19.

Those applying should outline their interests and capacities in an attached letter of 400 words on the MFA application form. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is 5pm on Monday 17th July.
