IT Support Helpdesk
The IT Support helpdesk is open for students from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, on the ground floor of the Clock building (in amongst Nival) during term time.

Sending Large Files
If you need to send large files please checkout the Filesender
service.
If you have a number of files to send together you will need to
zip/compress the folder first by using a program like WinZip or WinRAR

Need to Host your original video clips on the Web
The HEAnet Media Hosting Service provides hosting, transcode
and streaming of video content for to NCAD
staff and students.
Users upload their original videos. The videos are
transcoded into streaming formats such as Flash Media, Windows Media
and h.264.
The videos are then available to be embedded in the user's
websites or to be viewed by using a unique URL
To use the service please go to:
1) Go to
http://media.heanet.ie
2) Click "Login"
3) Select "National College of Art & Design" from the dropdown
list.
4) Put in your username and password that you use to get on the NCAD
wireless network
Click "Login"
