Lisa Moran studied fine art at the Cooper Union School of Art in New York, and has an MA in the History of Art, from the National College of Art and Design on the subject of Outsider Art. She was Combined Arts Officer with the Arts Council with responsibility for multi-disciplinary arts festivals and participatory arts. At present she works as a Curator in the Education and Community Department of the Irish Museum of Modern Art and is currently undertaking research on the subject of commemorative public art.
