Hilary O'Kelly, BA, MA
Lecturer, History of Design
Hilary O'Kelly has a B.A. in The History of Art and Archaeology from University College Dublin and an M.A. in Dress History from The Courtauld Institute of Art. Her research interests relate to two main areas; the role and significance of dress in Art History, and dress and material culture in 20th century Ireland. These include the relationship between dress and notions of national identity, gender, status and religion. She is Coordinator of Undergraduate Design History Studies in The Faculty of Visual Culture.
