Brendan Rooney, BA Psych (Hons), MLitt Psych.
lectures on the Psychology of Visual Perception for the complimentary studies in Visual Culture.

Brendan is a graduate student of the School of Psychology, University College Dublin.

His research interests include psychology of vision, face perception, psychology of the visual arts, and psychology of film, virtual reality and imagination. He is currently conducting research in University College Dublin for his PhD that explores the uses of imagination, cinema, narrative and other virtual realities in defining creating, exploring and maintaining self. In addition to his work in the National College of Art and Design, Brendan has lectured in University College Dublin and Dublin Business School.
