James Armstrong teaches in the areas of media, film, and art. He has lectured in both the academic and production areas of new media and photography. His research addresses narrative structure, transformation and transference between different media forms, both static and kinetic. He has lectured at the Irish Film Institute, Dublin City University, and The Gallery of Photography (Temple Bar). He has written for CIRCA art magazine and Source magazine.
