"The magnified circulation of the blood appears like a beauteous landscape, where rivers, streams of running water and hills are everywhere dispersed."
Henry Baker
In the context of interioriority and exteriority I see the body as representative of a landscape, whether it is folds and curves as mountains and valleys, skin textures as street maps or internal vascular systems resembling complex conveyance systems.
The laboratory, like the artists’ studio, is a setting, which unites the organic, and the inorganic through knowledge and discovery. In this locale, I recreate a landscape of ambiguity, through scientific methods of observation, research, experimentation and documentation.
