Graduate of NCAD with 10 years industrial experience before turning to teaching. Has been a lecturer in the Department of Visual Communication since 1991
Subjects covered include typography, corporate identity, brand building, illustration, design for print and on-screen technology (web design and motion graphics).
Achievements
Irish Expert in Graphic Design at the World Skills in Skills Competition in Seoul, Korea 2001 and Montréal, Canada 1999.
Chief Advising Examiner for NAC (Graphic Design Section) Department of Education and Science, 1997-2003.
In 1993 with Melanie founded the Irish style magazine D’Side.
