Lisa Young's work has moved through the realms of representation and figurative forms, into more abstracted interpretations of movement, emotions, personal and social boundaries. the aim is to deal with these issues in a way that is unsentimental and objective.
She uses a range of techniques to produce the work: handbuilding, model and mouldmaking, pressmoulding, slip and plastercasting.
