Henry Pim, BA(Hons), PostGrad Dip
Lecturer, Ceramics

Henry Pim joined the N.C.A.D staff. in 1990. Prior to this he studied at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam (post grad) at Camberwell School of Art, in London (B.A.), and at Brighton College of Education (Cert. Ed.)

Pim has exhibited world-wide, and his work is represented in a number of public collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Stadelijk Museum, Amsterdam, the Museum of Western Australia (Perth), and the Victoria and Albert Museum, in London.

Pim's work has changed considerably since the start of his career in the early '80's when he made large, colourful vessel forms.

Recent work (shown here) made whilst on a residency at N.Y.U. in Manhatten,, consists of wall-hung sculptures. They address ideas of fractured systems, grids and conglomerates.
