Sarah Fennessy - Graduate Profile
Sarah Fennessy is a Fashion Design BDes graduate of 2002.
Sarah was always intrigued by “performance fabrics” and whilst her womenswear Degree Collection was somewhat “futuristic” by designing for high tech fabrics she learnt much about their “handle” and mastered their construction beautifully.
Sarah also designed a range of boys footwear again using “performance fabrics”. This was a Clarks / N.C.A.D. project.
Following graduation Sarah worked for the Irish Designer, Michael Mortell designing mens wear and then onto Lambay Clothing with responsibility for developing the Jack Murphy Lifestyle range.
Lambay manufacture warm, wet-weather clothing for men and women and export extensively throughout the Northern hemisphere.
