Applicants MUST take special care in completing the application form as selection for interview will be based on the information given by the applicant on their form.

Interviews: Year 2

Selected applicants are normally interviewed in late April/early May. If applicants apply for more than one course, they should note that it is not always possible to arrange interviews for their different course choices to take place on the same day.

Portfolios

Applicants must bring their portfolio of work with them to interview – it must not be submitted in advance. The portfolio of a student applying for entry to the Faculty of Fine Art should contain up to a maximum of 15 examples of all aspects of work covered in the applicant's studies to date and should include drawings, notebooks, sketchbooks and slides or photographs of two-dimensional and/or three- dimensional works. It should show the breadth of the applicant's abilities and experience.

Notification of Result of Interview

All applicants who attend for interview are notified of the result of their interview in June. Applicants who are successful at the interview stage are offered a provisional place on condition that they meet the College regulations for entry. Documentary proof of examinations passed will be required for verification before a place offer is confirmed.

Interviews: Years 3 and 4

The application procedure for transfer applicants is as for entry to Year 2 except interviews are held in June.

In all cases of transfer the College will decide the year to which the applicant is admitted.
